Property Lifecycle Statuses: From Draft to Published, Reserved, and Closed

Control listing visibility and transition properties across preparation, review, active publication, reservation, and closing.

Understanding Property Status Transitions

Every property in WebProp follows a structured lifecycle: In Preparation (Draft), Pending Review, Available (Published), Reserved, Sold, Rented, and Archived.

You can transition a listing directly from its detail page using dedicated workflow actions (`publish`, `unpublish`, `submit_for_review`, `reserve`, `mark_sold`, `mark_rented`, `return_to_draft`, or `archive`).

  • Draft and Pending Review keep listings internal while your team prepares media and copy.
  • Available listings can be set to Public visibility or Private invite-only visibility.
  • Reserved, Sold, and Rented statuses automatically update portal feeds and storefront badges.

Public vs. Private Listing Visibility

In addition to status, each property has a Visibility setting (`public` or `private`). Public available properties appear on your agency website and connected portals, whereas private listings are accessible only via tokenized buyer invitations and private catalog gates.
