Sharing Agency Documents Externally with Tokenized Public Links
Generate zero-login share URLs so clients and notaries can view or download specific documents securely.
Generating a Tokenized Document Link
When you enable sharing on a document in the vault (`/companies/:company_id/documents/:id/toggle_visibility`), WebProp generates a unique `share_token`. You can send `/documents/public/:share_token` to your client so they can preview the file or download it (`/documents/public/:share_token/download`).
- Clients access the shared file without needing a portal username or password.
- Direct browser preview and one-click download (`/documents/public/:share_token/download`).
- Revoke external access immediately by toggling visibility back to private.
Revoking Public Access Anytime
As soon as a transaction closes or a document should no longer be shared externally, toggle its visibility off to invalidate the public link immediately.
